About Better Ballots NY

BETTER BALLOTS NY: 2010 Voter Education Guide is based on official candidate statements compiled by the Voter Enfranchisement Project at The Bronx Defenders and partner organizations.  Better Ballots NY covers the races for Governor, Attorney General as well as State Assembly and Senate races in New York City districts that are disproportionately impacted by the criminal justice system. 

BETTER BALLOTS NY is a nonpartisan effort comprised of nonpartisan organizations that do not support or oppose any political party or candidate.  

You can now view official responses of candidates running in the September 14 Primary Election. 

Note: To avoid confusion, the website currently displays only those candidates who are running in the Primary Election.  Candidates running in the General Election will be displayed after September 14.
